SOMATIC BODYWORK
'FEEL & HEAL'

To help my clients explore Somatic Bodywork, I have created a treatment which I have called the...Ultimate Connection. It is a celebration of your body where we explore massage & pleasure together with curiosity & an open mind via the beauty of intentional touch. All you have to do is nothing but relinquish control, receive & enjoy. Let me be the facilitator of your pleasure!

The Ultimate Connection

Connect to the aliveness of your incredible body

This is more than a massage. It’s an embodied experience — a celebration of your body & an exploration of pleasure & connection to yourself. This is a full body treatment…touching the physical body but also the intimate & maybe the emotional & who knows, even the spiritual for some.

I caress & nurture the body with long flowing strokes, working up & down the body as well as under & over to create this beautiful sensual experience — full-body, skin-on-skin — performed with both of us naked. At the same time, I tease the body to build a delicious erotic charge, leading to intense pleasure.

We hold that energy, play with it & see what happens. To wrap up, I will bring you back down into deep rest with a tender face, neck & shoulder massage.

The key to this massage is to just relinquish control, knowing this is a safe space, operating with agreed boundaries & consent. There is no need to perform, so just surrender & let me facilitate your pleasure with my therapeutic touch. I will help you to disconnect from your mind chatter & connect instead to the aliveness of your body. All you need to do is…nothing but relax & let go & enjoy the ebbs & flows of pleasure.

No goals. No expectations. Whatever happens, happens.

Please note -This massage is about the joy of touch, pleasure & connection…not sex.

What is Somatic Bodywork?

I am a professional & highly qualified remedial sports massage therapist but my passion & interest is for Somatic Bodywork & ultimately my interest lies in connecting authentically to our bodies. We live in a world where it seems the most important connection we have these days is to our phones but we are wired for human connection.

Somatic Bodywork can be many things depending on who you talk to but for me it is about  helping clients to get out of their head & to feel the aliveness of their bodies via touch. This  requires you to check out from the world & your constant mind chatter & to become curious about your body. What am I feeling?

Another term for it is embodied…& is described as having a deep connection & awareness of  the physical body by feeling & experiencing the interconnectedness between the mind, body  & spirit or quite simply…to drop into your body & feel the vibrant aliveness.

Letting Go of Control

When it comes to pleasure a big problem can be control. Our desire for control is taking away our ability to be curious, to explore & to surrender to the unknown. In this practice I get you to  surrender to me, knowing that you are in a safe space and that we operate within an agreed  contract that I will discuss with you before we start. One of the pleasures in life is being touched & you are free to enjoy it without fear of judgement or ridicule. This work is not outcome focussed but it is all about the journey. There is no wrong or right way, so just mindfully enjoy the ebbs & flows of pleasure with curiosity & we will see what happens.

Receiving

One of the most important aspects of this work is receiving. Learning to receive without feeling  the need to give back. This is your time on the table to enjoy this one way touch. Once you start feeling the need to give back, you are back to having a mind experience instead of a felt  experience. When you are thinking instead of feeling it becomes a different experience & it can lose what makes it special.

Rewiring Our Neural Pathways

Our body  becomes conditioned to our habits including our sexual habits and has developed neural pathways which re-enforces our practices. If we want to have a different relationship with our body then we need to teach it, like playing a musical instrument. Most guys when it comes to pleasure, seek it from between the legs but pleasure can be found around your whole body.

Somatic  body works helps you to become curious about what you’re feeling & where you are feeling it. It can help in resetting your neural pathways to discover & experience more pleasure from your whole body & with practice you can become multi-orgasmic & also achieve mind-blowing full body orgasms.

Communication

A key learning of this work is communication & to ask for what you want. When you are on the  table don’t hesitate to let me know that you enjoy something or not. We can explore touch  together. What if I touch you here….how does that feel? Does this feel better if I touch you lightly or with more pressure? What is better for you….fast or slow? As long as it falls within boundaries which I talk about before the session starts, there is no problem. One of the keys to success with pleasure is  communication. We are all different so don’t be afraid to guide your partner & teach them what works best for you.

There are 5 core principles which apply to somatic bodywork:

• Awareness of body
• Breath
• Touch
• Movement
• Sound

Exploring somatic bodywork & applying the above principals can take a session from amazing to mind blowing. But this is aspirational talk & takes practice. In this session we use mainly touch of course & that achieves amazing results but if you are up for it, we can also explore the other 4 & see what happens!

Successful somatic bodywork sessions lie within the foundation laid before the session.

These three very simple foundations include:

Communication

We will discuss & agree together exactly what is going to happen before we start the session. The purpose of this is so that you can lie on the table & feel safe & secure. Also so you don’t spend your time on the table, stuck in your head wondering…what is he doing or what is going to happen but instead connected to your body & enjoying the ebbs & flows of pleasure. Also communicating what you want as I discussed above is key to a successful session.

Boundaries

Before any session starts we set & agree to boundaries about what can & can’t  happen. Like a contract. These boundaries cannot be renegotiated during the session but you can change your mind & decide that you don’t want something that we had previously agreed on. In short you cannot add but you can take something off the table. You are ultimately always in control of the session. No means no.

My main boundary is no sex - My definition of sex is intercourse & any use of the mouth including kissing & sucking. As long as it is touch based using hands & body, I am all in. Having said that, don’t worry, resisting can be hard & makes a session very intense & I would argue, better than sex? Trust the process. It will be amazing!

Consent

This is consent based work & it needs to be a heartfelt YES where the head, heart &  gut are all aligned before any touch begins:

• Learn to say NO! Very important

FAQS

REVIEWS

It was the best and most intimate full body massage I have ever had. Alex was very attentive to tight and sore areas that needed extra pressure. I was able to be completely in the moment which took away any of life’s stresses and distractions. It also helped that the rain sound was so soothing. I will be back

- DANIEL

Easy to book, had an appointment with Alex, helped me with my issue really efficiently. Really felt like he understood my problem straight away and then spent the rest of the session trying to help me out.

- MATTHEW

Thank you to Alex for the massage and stretch today. A weight I forget that I carry is gone. While I'm sure I talked too much, thanks Alex for putting up with me — and for those unexpected chuckles. I'm still grinning. :)
